With more than seven decades in entertainment, three-time Emmy-winner Ralph Edwards is considered by many to be the grandfather of reality-based programming. Born in Merino, Colorado, Ralph began his career at radio stations in Oakland and San Francisco, which paid his way through the University of California at Berkeley. After graduation, Ralph went to New York where he beat out 60 other candidates for a staff announcer position at CBS Radio.
