In 1955, Eamonn Andrews, a top British performer and host of What’s My Line in England, visited Hollywood and saw TIYL. He called Ralph Edwards saying, “We must have this show in England.” The day before the live premiere, a local newspaper printed the name of the honoree, so a new one needed to be found - fast. Ralph convinced the BBC to let him turn the tables on the UK host, Eamonn Andrews, and honor him.
